Team & Group Coaching

02

Everyone Wins

Team members benefit. Your organizations too. That’s why many companies large and small sponsor Team Coaching or Group Coaching.

Organizations want to support their teams in being their best. Shift mental state. Improve performance. Increase job satisfaction. Produce results for the individual, the team, and the organization. Team members who are supported, learning, and growing are less likely to leave, less likely to be absent, more likely to be productive, and more likely to be innovative. A win for everyone.

A Methodical Approach In Stages

01

Preparing

Initial consultations with the team leader and/or human resources will enable customization of the coaching to meet the team’s specific needs. As part of this pre-work, team members will also complete an onboarding Coaching Questionnaire, Personality Assessment, and/or Strengths Assessments, resulting in individualized reports to help participants learn about themselves and others.

02

Setting Goals

Working with the sponsor and team, we identifies goals for the coaching engagement, so we have clear targets to hit both individually and as a group.

03

Conducting Sessions

Together as a group or team, participants participate in coach-led conversations, virtual or in person, learning new distinctions and tools, discussing challenges and solutions, committing to actions, and moving toward goals.

04

Providing Additional Support

Participants can reach out to their coach via phone, email, or text between sessions, to ask questions, or to get brief coaching to get unstuck.

03

Both Teams & Groups

Team Coaching focuses on improving a single, interdependent team's dynamics and performance towards a common goal. Group Coaching works with a group of individuals who may be unrelated other than sharing development goals. Both types of coaching programs are offered at Cambridge Coaching Group.

These teams and groups can develop new abilities with managing goals (both spoken and unspoken), communicating effectively, resolving conflicts, building rapport, managing group dynamics, and increasing results.  Through Team Coaching, they become more effective internally within their own team, and externally with others inside and outside the organization.
